She is very hard on essay grading, and the readings are numerous. She assigns an essay every week and has many outside of class assignments due. I think it's also important to say that this is her first semester to teach. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROFESSOR!!!

This professor is terrible. She gives tons of reading assignments not relative to what we write about. Her level of grading is beyond what should be expected & she talks down to students. She is still working on her degree and is impossible when it comes to grading. I am normally an A student, but …more had to drop to to my C. STAY AWAY!!! less

She graded unreasonably hard for a 100-level class of mostly non-English majors. Almost everyone failed the first essay; few people in there deserved it. She asked us to anonymously write our opinions on the class and then proceeded to berate us for having those opinions. But she was usually nice …more enough and grading got better later on. less

Okay, I dreaded going to this class! If you are conservative or moderate this is not the professor for you. Many of the readings were completely irrelevant. Strict grading! Hated the whole experience!!! She assumes that EVERYONE is an English major!
