She makes the class seem boring. There are study guides in the bookstore that explain Chemistry better than she does! Take Mary Setzer if you want an interesting class.

She is not the most interesting woman in the world. Her slides are pretty much photo-less and her speech is monotonous. Attendance is not mandatory but part of your grade is in class participation so you pretty much have to attend. As long as you do the homework and skim through the chapters …more before the tests, you'll do fine in her class. less

She was an amazing teacher. Her class wasn't easy but I did gain an understanding of what was going on. Also she was always available to help and did a great job of teaching me the material after class as well.

Dr. Bowman is extremely sweet and helpful. Inorganic chemistry is not easy and the textbook is annoyingly ancient (1993)...However, she goes out of her way to help students understand the material. Just ask for help if you need it!
