Clear expectations and good lectures to prepare you for each paper assigned. Small amount of homework outside of class. Fair grading and good feedback on papers. She's a professional technical writer so she grades more technically which is good.

Mrs. Hardin is really critical to your writing and the only thing about this class is that it is online. While the class was not so hard and I got a good A, I would ever take her again because there are more better professors in the English department. She is also not available for any help outside …more of the course and even denied helping in the email less

I took her for an online class: Be prepared to have at least 3 assignments due every week and 3 projects throughout the semester. While the work usually wasn't too bad, it was just a lot of it. Having a project due along with other assignments is a bit much. I agree she is a tough grader so make …more sure you double check your writing less

I was a little worried about this class, as writing is not my strong suit, but she made everything easy to follow. The lectures were informative but not overbearing, and the in-class assignments really helped with understanding much of the literature we read. She gives good feedback on essays, …more which helps a lot when trying to perfect prior drafts. less
