Avoid this class at all costs. I loved Chemistry until I took this class. Super hard to pass. She expects you to know material on the test that she says she'll give to you. Goes super fast. Talks really quietly and is hard to understand sometimes. If you want to save your GPA avoid her!

Avoid, unless you took AP chemistry in high school and got a 5. Owl assignments are long and tedious. She mumbles and reads off of the slides. Tests are very hard expect a C on the first and D's on the rest with studying. If your good at teaching yourself and have tons of free time take her. Very …more sweet person though. Just not good teacher at all. less

Dont take her class. she is very soft spoken, only goes over what is on the slides and is very confusing. She talks down to students who try to ask questions in class. If you're stuck with her be prepared to teach yourself and rely on google, wolfram alpha, and khan academy for any form of …more assistance. Try to go to PASS as much as possible too. less

1:She reads the slides. Only, in the end, ventured to work on the board.2: You NEVER answer students' questions with "Common Sense Says" when you are teaching a new section.3: Her structure for the equations on the board is circular (bring a road map). 4:NO control of her classroom-The noise level …more is high-A student had to tell people to be quiet. less

She's completely oblivious as to how awful she is. She complains that nobody asks questions but when somebody does, she talks down to them and says that the answer should be "common sense". Rarely works on the board but that's okay because her methods are so wildly inconsistent that I wouldn't know …more any of the formulas if it wasn't for google. less

Ignore the other people's posts. If you actually do the homework, pay attention in class, and read the book, Dr. McFeeters is a decent teacher. The slides are helpful, but skip many steps later on in the semester. Also, she gives next to no time for clicker questions. Tests are reasonable. Get …more off to a good start. Sit near the front! less

Chemistry by nature is not an easy subject. That said, Dr. McFeeters is a very fair professor and she will help you if you make an effort and show you care about the subject. She does curve tests and if you read ahead clicker points, extra credit opportunities, and homework will help you. Also …more go to PASS. A B is definitely obtainable. less

Amazing accent! She speeds through her slides w/o much commentary, but does post slides/audio on ANGEL. Use the study guides for the tests and expect a nice 10-15 point scale. OWL homework is not exactly fun, but gives you good practice. I recommend getting the ACS study guide for the final exam. …more If you want an A, you will have to work for it. less

Very intelligent and nice. Does not realize that her intelligence inhibits her from being able to relate to a 100 level course. She will surprise you with scales and bonus points, and you will need them. Her lectures are very hard to follow and pretty boring.

English isn't her first language, but she's nice, helpful, and not that hard to understand. Tests are moderately difficult, but if you go to class and participate you'll be fine. People saying she's hard make me laugh. Take O CHEM! That's hard! Maybe you shouldn't be a science major. This …more isn't bio or a easy social science class, but is fair. less
