He does not care how the students do. He wants to be teaching a 400 level class so his tests are pretty much impossible if you're just a lowly sophomore. He drops the F's when averaging the test grades because the real average is so low. He makes you feel stupid for asking a question in class. If …more you have any other choice, AVOID him! less

He teaches this class more like a 300 level course. As someone who has already received a degree, I did not find it difficult. Tests have critical thinking elements and every possible answer you can come up with. Study hard! Quizes are easy and are a great way to bring your average up almost a …more letter grade. He drops the two lowest quizes. less

horrible professor. his quizzes are so easy and his practice questions lie because they are easy too. suprise, the tests are nothing like them at all. if you take this prof, read every word in the book, memorize all terms, study slides 100 times and might as well record his lectures cuze you will …more be tested on some random term he throws out. AVOID! less

If you see this man coming run. He teaches like you already have a degree. The quizzes and practice questions are easy but the actual test are very hard. I would not recommend taking this teacher.

The Fall 2011 semester is drawing to a close, so I can accurately evaluate this professor now. He likes to berate students. Does not help very much, and if you can, I would recommend taking this class with another Professor/instructor.

You have to go to class, do your homework, and STUDY. Tests are hard. There are no extra points or scaling for tests, what you make is what you are stuck with. The final exam is comprehensive. I found it helpful to read the chapters and work the homework problems given. He does not provide study …more guides. It's a tough class. less

My advisor allowed me to substitute this course for ACC 602. A lot of information was covered in this 5 week course. The first two exams were not that hard, but the comprehensive final was tough! The graduate students were also responsible for a five page paper. Dr. Alewine made himself very …more available for questions outside of class. less
