He breaks down your grades to give you the opportunity to succeed such as 8 small tests instead of 1 large midterm. He is a tough grader though, if you just throw a program together you will not do well on the homework assignments. Take your time, make it neat, think about it. Tough but fair

Lectures very fast. Really confusing to comprehend. Never says what chapter or section we are in when starting lecture. Exams are tough and only two.

I had him for CS 214. He is relatively young and good professor. His class can be pretty tough. Exam 1 - Average grade was 66.8. Exam 2 - Average grade was 67.4. The Final - Average grade was 79.5. You can succeed in this class if you try. Kindly realize that UAH CS is tough past CS 121. If you …more can't pass it than go study Information Systems less

Easily the worst grad teacher at Uah, almost every lecture students had to tell him how to work the problems right. Avoid at all costs, wait a semester if you have to seriously.

Overall CS214 is a hard class, no matter who teaches it. Williamson is funny and makes the lectures interesting. He does go fast through the lecture material but whenever someone has a question he stops and fully answers it. To make up for the difficulty he does give out extra credit throughout the …more semester. CS214 is tough but doable if you study less
