Dr. Dimmock may be smart, but he cant teach well. His lectures were basically worthless. He rarely works examples. So, his lectures are composed of deriving equations 80% of the time. He at least makes his tests simple and easy.

Dimmock is a nice guy and I heard from several people about how smart he was and whatnot. He did not prepare for his lectures at all and at the beginning of the semester he got upset that he had to change his syllabus to work some problems for us.

I don't know why folks complain-his lectures are a little dull, but they help you do the homework, which is exactly what the tests are pulled from. It was easier than high school physics, better that that blasted CH 121 with Paddy, and my first A+ in four years at crappy UAH. I'd take Dimmock any

I hate physics, but this was the easiest physics teacher I have had. His tests were easy. I had a copy of the books solution's to the homework, so i didn't have to come to class. He gave equations on the tests, and equation 1 went with problem #1a, etc. So VERY EASY

Class is kind of boring but his tests are very easy...he practically tells you what homework problems to study for the test...i think it is almost impossible to make less than a B if you give any effort at all

His lectures are incredibly boring. He works directly out of the book. He uses variations of homework problems on the tests and gives formulas. If you can get past the lectures, you'll be fine.

Boring. He only works the examples from the book, so it doesn't help you with homework at all! The only good thing I can say about him is that he gives effort points on the test. I got almost all the answers on one test wrong and still got a C on it.

Lectures were very boring! As long as you can do the homework problems and memorize how to do them you will do fine in the class.

The way to ace this class is to do the homework problems, and then memorize them for the tests. This can be a daunting task since you will have 20-40 homework questions to study, and then only 4-5 questions on the test. His lectures are so boring that I rarely stayed awake. Really nice man though, …more just not the most interesting teacher. less
