She is not a great teacher yet. She is new to the job and lectures are boring and bascially just about the PowerPoints. Her tests are not easy but if you study it will be fine. There is also a adjusted grading scale over an 80 is an A. Besides the teaching aspect I think she is a really nice person …more and just wants the best for her students. less

Okay this lady does not know about the economy. Like honestly, she is a really nice person overall, but bless her heart. She just doesn't know how to teach economics. She reads off the PowerPoint notes and doesn't provide anything actually meaningful. There's only three grades the entire semester …more so good luck if you bomb one test. less

I do not recommend her. She is a good person but teaching is not for her. I was very passionate about Economy after taking Macro with one of the best teachers I have ever had and then next semester I had to take Micro with her and I was horrible. Her class is boring and she does not teach or makes …more it understandable or fun to learn. Only used slides less

Everything is based off of exams and she doesnt prepare you for the exams. Take any other profesor. Also shes Canadian and doesnt always understand how the U.S. government affects things differently than Canada does.

Oh wow. Ok this lady is new but her test are unnecessarily hard. There are three test but the final is worth 40% of your grade. She an ok instructor. BUT AVOID AT ALL COST

BREAKING NEWS: Canadian economics and government structure is not the same as U.S. Nice lady but Jeeze I dont think she could pass this class even in Canada. All jokes aside this class was not fair for the student.

I have nothing against her as a person, but do NOT take this class. There are only 3 tests, and the last one is worth 40% of your grade. There isnt any homework to cushion your grade either. Her analogies dont make any sense and she reads straight from the slides.

She's relatively new at UAH. She really cares about the students understanding the material and making sure everyone can pass the class. Tests are difficult, but she also offered opportunities for extra credit and tutoring. A decent choice for an upper level Economics class.

She is a great person overall, but the way she teaches is a no from me. 3 test for the whole class and nothing to help with the grade. If you completely mess up one test, count that A, or even B goodbye. No matter how much I studied, I never felt prepared for her test. I NEVER blame the professor, …more but this one you need to skip if you see her name. less

I do not know why people are so hard on her. Yes, the class is difficult but we are in college some of the classes around here are just not college level this one is. She teaches the material decent and makes sure people can follow also an A is easily possible if you actually study.
