Very friendly. The tests are multiple choice and are not hard if you study the key terms and the PowerPoint slides. He scales his test. Their is a group paper that's very time consuming, but not to hard. I made an "A" in the class. I recommend taking MacKenzie for MGT363!

Dr. MacKenzie is an excellent professor. He gave really clear lectures, lots of examples, and class interaction. I recommend him with no doubt whatsoever; you will get the best of this class. Study... this is not an easy A, but it is possible!

Dr. MacKenzie is a great, great instructor. He is one out of two instructors currently teaching Management 499, so TAKE MACKENZIE. His exams are easy A's, and he gives out bonus points for practically nothing. It's IMPOSSIBLE to make anything less than a B+ in his classes.

Really good teacher. Test questions come from test bank but the tests are not that easy. This class takes a lot of time. There is a group project using Capstone simulator that lasts most of the semester. It costs an extra $55. Team decisions are done on a weekly basis for this project. It's fun but …more time consuming. less

Tests largely come from textbook. If you want to do well on tests, take a few hours to read the chapters before the test. The CapSim simulation seems daunting at first, but you'll get the hang of it by the time you get through the practice rounds. Teacher is very approachable and will work with you …more if you're having problems. Very highly recommended less

He is a wonderful teacher and honestly will help you with anything. The semester long project is time consuming and complicated, so make SURE you read the manual BEFORE you being competition rounds. Learn what automation and capacity mean and how to use them. Exams are pretty hard, but really …more knowing the PPTs will help the most! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! less

Loved Dr. Mac! He tells you right off the bat that the class will be hard. Personally, I think he does it just to scare you. You have to read the book before exams, but chapter quizzes online really help to supplement your grade. He's funny, and makes the stuff interesting...also records lectures …more so if you miss, you'll survive. Take if you can! less

To succeed in his courses, you simply have to watch the lectures and read the chapters in the books. Tests/quizzes are pulled straight from those. He gives opportunities for extra credit, and he only puts four essay questions on exams. Fair grader, accessible outside of class. Basically, put in the …more effort and you'll get an A. Downside: slow grader less
