took for stats 1. he spent most of the class period talking about concept rather than actually showing us how to do the stuff. exams were extremely difficult. class average of 60. if you don't understand it, tough luck cause he won't take the time to go over anything again. he would rather talk …more about photons and weird stats TRIVIA. less

He sucks as a teacher. He talks to the powerpoint and not the class. Doesnt explain much and he always give you extra info you wont need to know. Test are hard, 2nd test a 69 was a A, a 40 was a C.

Really hard class. His tests are difficult, but he does curve them. If you come to class and do your homework, you'll probably pass, but you'll leave the tests terrified you failed.

it's a good thing he curves the test grades, because most of the class would have failed. he assigns homework and in class exercises which really help your grade too. i don't think he's an actual teacher, but a statician. he knows what he's talking about, but sometimes it's hard for him to explain …more to the students less

There is something wrong where a 58 is a B on a test. Yeah, that is how he scales grades so the class won't fail. Sir, just give test that make sense and you wouldn't have to do that. AVOID. DROP. EJECT. PULL OUT!

He is so effing brilliant but is NOT meant to teach. Super kind, but he needs to be somewhere developing technology that uses quantum physics, not in front of 60-something soph. trying to pass a 200 lvl course.

Colley is evil. Never answers your questions. Creates tests so students fail. He is brilliant but cannot teach to save his live. Horrible teacher. Avoid him at ALL costs!

WHY has this guy got so many bad ratings!? You people made me feel hopeless going into his class, but I was pleasantly surprised. He is VERY helpful, gives examples and goes over them multiple times. His lectures and the in-class daily assignments help pull everything together. I got an A- and …more I'm not a genius by any means. Highly recommended. less

His classes everyday are powerpoints and there is hw due once a week online. He is very smart and sometimes explains things in a manner that is too complicated, but if you go to PASS and do the hw you should get an A or no worse than a B, he wants you to succeed.
