If you can't handle constant religious debates and conservativism, do yourself a favor and don't go here. It can be hard to make friends if you don't fit the "norm"

I am a transfer student from 3 previous colleges and CBU is completely different than all the rest. Everyone you talk to will say that the people here are a good kind of different. People hold doors for you, say hi as you are walking and the professors are very personable. The school has it's identity and it shows it.

The teachers are amazing! The food is great, and theyre constantly improving the campus. The terrible internet is the only thing that stands out to me ��

The school is nice, professors are accessible and the food is good. That being said it is strongly devoted to religion and it is aimed toward that demographic. Meaning teacher will pray before exams and most activities are bible based. So if you're looking for a "fun" school or a "party" school this is not for you.

Not really any clubs.

The whole atmosphere with students is saddening. Its like being back in middle school. People are in cliques, and unaccepting, roommates are bad, its just not worth it. Im in way too much debt, and could be going somewhere else.

CBU has wonderful professors, various ways to get involved on campus, and great people. One thing I heard the most when I started here was, "Why is every body so NICE?" CBU is different from big, public school because you are given the chance to get plugged into your community and create lifelong relationships with many of the great people here.

CBU is a wonderful place. They give you many opportunities to succeed academically, make lifelong friends, and if you're interested, begin or continue your relationship with God. I have only been here for a year now and I have discovered so much about myself. What I've seen at CBU so far is encouragement, camaraderie, truth, love, and adventure.
