She comes off like she's hard, but she lets up in the end. She's a good teacher but I hated the subject matter.

Difficult class with it's fair share of work but very interesting and "hands on" type assignments. She is very helpfull in this class.

Very fair and helpful, but you will need to work extremely hard. Will need to read your text book. No extra credit. No make-up exams. Do not turn up late or fall asleep! In sum, a very tough class but you will actually learn something if you are willing to put in the effort!

A very tough class but I learned a lot about a subject I was not initially interested in. Obviously the person who did not like her dancing or New Zealand stories is a complete half-wit who must have slept through class; she does Hawaiian dancing not belly dancing and her New Zealand stories were …more great (I want to move to New Zealand). less

Tough course but if you do the work and take advantage of redoing assignments, you will actually get through the course. Hard exams. It is the first time I actually had to work hard in a course at this university.

This class is really challenging. I learned to used different programs and mapped crime data. At first it scared me, but the professor worked really hard to make things understandable. Definately not a class for people that are computer illiterate.

I only took research methods because it was required. I had heard horror stories about the professor and was terrified. The stories were wrong. I enjoyed taking Dr. Bichler's research methods. The class was very challenging, but she went above and beyond to help us understand. I attribute my …more success in statistics to what I learned in methods. less

This teacher is very, very, very, weak in teaching. She expects you to just learn by osmosis. The 2 exams given were both subjective and objective and were too hard to understand what answers exactly she wanted. The final project paper example I followed to the letter and yet I received 30 points …more out of 100 points which was over 1/3 of my grade. less

I don't know why I've heard so many bad things about Bichler. The subject matter she teaches is difficult, but she makes it as clear as possible. I don't blame her for not wanting whiners in her class! If you show up to class and put a lot of effort into the work, you'll probably get at least a …more C, but you can't slack off! A good instructor!!! less
