Have to do your homework and ask questions. He will not go over anything unless you ask about it. Not the worst professor, but not as easy as some.

I liked this guy. He is avialable during office hours. He is available via email. He encouraged me, and gave me some good hints on learning Spanish. The course was tough and required alot more work than my other classes. But this guy likes to teach and wants to help if you'll seek him out.

You will be surprised how easy this guy is when you compare him to other spanish teachers on campus. He wants you to ask him questions and trust me you should ask questions.I loved his class and would take a class with him again if i had to!don't take a chance with another prof. I took 2 professors …more and this one was far better than others!! less

A great class! Full of material of the Old and New Worlds... and lots and lots of readings!! If you can put up with plenty of reading... this class is great, but if your not self dicipline be careful! DO THE EXTRA CREDIT!!! and you will be fine.

He wasn't very friendly or very helpful. He was also very unorganized. I'm for sure never taking his class again.

I took him for 101 and 102 a few years ago and I am minoring in Spanish because of him. He is SO awesome and was always so helpful to me. He likes to talk about his cat Mousie, but it's funny. I very highly recommend him to anyone who is just starting out in Spanish. Even though I'm not in his …more classes anymore, I still go visit. Easy going & fun less

Readings are a must, the study guides will give you an A! The lectures and movies shown were long and boring, but this class is far from being hard. The information for the most part is interesting, just the presentation of it is boring. Keep up on the readings and do extra credit and you will find …more yourself with a good grade. less

You must really invest time into this class. It?s not hard, but time consuming to say the least!! His assistant was rude; I don't know what she was doing in there other than sitting. I wouldn't take this class if you work full time?its just too much reading.

PROFESSOR HILL IS A GRUMPY OLD MAN. His only concerns are his CAT and his PAYCHECK, which he mentions frequently. He will talk over you and not listen to your concerns. He is not helpful and teaches a 101 class like it a 150 class. You will have to study hard. His teaching is not good for anyone …more who has not taken Spanish before. less
