First year teaching, many struggled, many failed. Very friendly but avoid at all costs!

She is very nice, but teaches at a ridiculous fast rate. Weekly homework and she is a VERY critical grader. Also she is very punctual, if you hand in a assignment even a minute late you are given half credit. I say only take her if you have as much passion for physics as she does. Very nice person, …more but expects too much in too little time. less

I will say this, for a new professor she has improved a lot through the year! Still has some stuff to work on such as moving at a comfortable pace and having a better structure layout during class time. Her voice is high pitched and she talks really fast so pay attention. She is always willing to …more help you if you're striving to learn! Overall Good. less

Professor is very good and knows what she is talking about!!! Explains everything in great detail and knows how to communicate with the class! She does grade pretty harshly on test. You could show a whole page of work and get 0 points of partial credit. But still, she just started teaching and is …more already better than the other one(Woodney). less

Very Witty and cool! I had her back for 221. She is very good. Just pay close attention to her because she moves quick. Other than that you will learn a lot from her. Utilize her help because it DOES help.

This class was taught by two professors. Material was split into two parts, where Hood taught one part and Callori taught the other. Hood's part was fine, Callori's was not. Very few people understood Callori's material, and test and quiz scores were consistently low. I feel like I learned nothing …more from Callori's lectures. less

Very difficult class, and a very rude and unhelpful professor. Callori's lectures were rarely useful, as were the given resources. I relied mostly on outside materials and help. If lectures were not mandatory, I would not have gone. Tests scores were always low, even with heavy curving. Avoid this …more professor if possible. less

One of two professors to teach this class. The material taught by Callori was usually more confusing than it needed to be, although it seemed like she really tried to help students. Written homework and group work was helpful, but the online homework was definitely not. Tests were graded on a …more curve. Overall a pretty straightforward class. less

New but a good professor for just starting. Hosts before/after class help sessions which she explains the material. She expects alot from the students although so you must be on top of things and know the material. Clicker questions pretty much force you to come to class. She grades midterms a …more little harsh though and wants exact solutions. less

Dr. Callori is better than Dr. Woodney, no lie. She explains everything a little bit better. Study, Study!!
