Hate her politics, adore her. She really went out of her way to help me succeed when I thought I would be in a lurch. I owe her my respect.

Cares more about cats than humans. She doesn't explain herself well and is very condesending. Almost always interjects with political commentary. She is one of the worst teachers, if not human beings I've ever had the displeasure to be around. Do not take her if you wish to maintain your sanity

An extrordinary teacher. Extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about animal and human rights issues. Gave an open class where you can talk and not feel studpid.

She is a very sweet lady, and she showed a genuine concern for students. She made sure to clarify, and was always available for office hours. Very laid back, but I was in a small class. The only thing was that she was a little absent-minded sometimes and didn't keep track of certain assignments.

Eastern Philosophy. Easy and interesting. This class makes you think! Be prepared to offer your views and try to think through complex philosophical problems logically. Two papers and a take home midterm and take home final and that's it.
