Dr. Cain such a sweet, wonderful person! She has a very dry personality but once you get to know her, you realize how kind and caring she is. There is a lot of work but class is interesting.

Agree that she comes off very dry, but she is so sweet and helpful. Class requires a good amount of reading and a research/observation project that requires a lot of time. But very interesting material!

Dr. Cain is a great professor. There is TONS and I mean TONS of reading, not tests. There are weekly writing responses/rsrch proj. She's extremely FAIR and generous of her time. I'm glad I took her, I did learn alot. Mandatory attendance and TONS of reading.

I agree that her personality is very dry. Her class is based on class discussions based on the readings. She poses a lot of questions during discussion. There is a research paper and you need to record yourself teaching a lesson using a tape recorder. This was neat because I got to hear my …more students and myself during class time. less
