he's a tough grader for real and the material sucks... but he answers his emails right away and always lets you come to ask questions about his comments outside of his normal hours so thats nice.

Mr. Chien tries to make some really boring material more interesting but doesnt always get it right. I like how he relates everything to real life though and tries to at least make boring rhetoric stuff relevant like how we always analyze ads. he's really strict with attendnace, lates, and super …more uptight about assignments being turned in on time. less

cares so much about attendance.. really uptight about it. kind of unclear when hes presenting material but always up for office horus to clarify (i email him like every other day too lol)

No Exams, No tests, only had one pop quiz. You will have speeches and papers but that goes for every RHET class. Good professor would recommend.
