His sacred place class was pointless. I was excited for the class at first, but it turned out to be about global warming, organic food and "true beauty in the world." It had nothing to do with theology. He is the slowest speaker too. You would think that you could write it off as easy, …more but there's a lot of work and he grades the papers pretty hard. less

Nice guy, but not great class. It was unconventional, which I liked, but by mid-semester we were just repeating the same talking points over and over. I literally wrote 3 essays and a final paper on almost the EXACT same topic. It wasn't the worst class I have ever taken, but it got redundant …more fast. We did go on so awesome field trips though. less

Any class with Dr. Christie will not be a conventional academic class. We went on field trips to museums, plays, even an anarchist rally. If you like reflecting and grappling with abstractions of everyday life, you'll love Dr. Christie. If you don't buy into his way of teaching, you will not enjoy …more this class and will question why you're there. less

I heard he was hard, but he moved to Argentina and when he came back his class was easy. DougE Fresh is the man. Students in the class he didnt teach were miserable and we had a blast. His class is all about self-reflection. You write about yourself and don't have to cite the material. Easiest A …more you'll get, youll leave feeling like a better person. less
