Class is interesting and she is clear. But very disorganized. If you are an organized student needing to know when things are due do not take this class. But if disorganization does not bother you she is interesting and clear. And obviously an expert in her field.

She's ridiculously nice and keeps the lectures interesting. She strays off topic sometimes, but it's interesting discussion, and she basically gives you the answers you'll need to know the day before her test.

She's one of the nicest teachers I've had at LMU. She's encouraging when students give answers. You don't need to read the book because she explains everything in class well enough for the midterm and final. She gives you main points for the final and midterm. She gives 3 reflections. Although an …more easy class she's a tough grader. Ques. are short ans less

Honestly, this teacher was impossible. Extremely disorganized and a difficult grader. Unclear then expects a lot from students. Plus teacher missed almost a month total of class! And then very strict on attendance herself. Department needs to look into her and her teaching style.

Really liked her. Definitely take her THST 161 to fulfill core. Very kind and understanding lady. Genuinely likes students and teaching. Mid term was fair. Final was take home. Short papers were easy - you choose 3/8 to write. MAKE SURE YOU ATTEND CLASS - ATTENDANCE/ PARTICIPATION IS A LARGE PART …more OF YOUR GRADE. less

I loved this class. She is so nice and really interesting to listen to. Definitely a feminist and really makes her opinion on issues known, but encourages people to share their own opinions. Barely any homework. One midterm, one paper, take home final. She's very disorganized, but I liked this …more class a lot. less

This is an interesting and easy class to take that makes you think a lot about social issues from a Christian lens. Definitely take this class to fulfill a core, because she is super nice and keeps the topics interesting. One midterm, one group presentation, and one final paper. That's all.

Don't take this class if you're not Catholic. She also missed a total of three weeks of class during the semester, so much in fact that she had to get a substitute to cover for her. Arbitrary grader. Basically don't disagree with her and you'll get a good grade.
