HANDS DOWN WORST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD. She does not explain anything and her lectures consist of simply reading from the text book.

Didn't like her teaching style that much. She read straight from her notes every class in this sort of monotone voice. But she was very interesting and knowledgeable. We had several pop quizzes but no tests. Several short assignments along with one large paper/presentation at the end of the …more semester. less

taken her twice now. for research methods, it was kind of hard because of all the work. for Media/Society it's a really awesome class. video/documentary every class & she explains it very well. ALOT of reading but i didnt do it all bc it was impossible. very interesting topic & she knows what shes …more teaching. You'll work a little but youll learn alot less

Loved this class (media and society). It was really interesting. Short paper due each week along with a few longer papers. One test and then the final. One presentation. I highly recommend this class!

AMAZING! I am taking her again for an elective. Very knowledgeable and interesting. Laid back. Easy - just do the work. Really wants you to learn. Would definitely take if chance arises! Class discussions are interesting. great documentaries, etc.

Honestly, I took this class as an upper division elective during my senior year. Not only was it a good amount of work, IT WAS THE MOST BORING CLASS I HAVE EVER TAKEN...the teacher is the 3 B' (Bad, Boring, and B-u can figure that one out)

I highly recommend this professor! I'm currently taking my second class with her, and I loved Media & Society with her! She is tough, but extremely helpful, and just wants you to learn. She is one of my favorite teachers, and I was blown away at all that I learned. Take her!

As far as work she's pretty easy. Her lectures are pretty annoying, no visuals she just reads straight from her notes. Documentaries she shows are so boring and it's impossible to do all the reading she assigns. Overall, the class is an easy A.
