He's brilliant, but somewhere between his mind and your ears it all gets lost. Didn't enforce a vague attendance policy until halfway through. BUT he is an easy grader. Read a little and manipulate it to sound like you read it all, and participate like twice a week and you'll get an A. He's …more terrified of students so being nice wouldn't hurt either less

For students who are not illiterate, this is a great class. You will write alot. No surprises with any of the exams. It is a plus if you like Plato. D'Amico will take pleanty of time to discuss assignments in office hours. Very nice prof.

We are reading this impossibly huge text called Insight, and he's actually making us go through the freakin' thing line by line! D'Amico is probably the worst teacher I've had: very boring, and I have a hard time hearing what he's saying.

this was the most boring class i have took in my life! it feels like class goes on forever and the things that he says normally goes through one ear and out the other. most of the time, it feels like he is just talking about philosophy and not to the students. i don't ever think he really knew my …more name. nevertheless, he is very easy on grading. less

D'Amico's class was great, we had some writing assignments that were interesting and he was very helpful during office hours. I would want to also take ethics with him if he teaches it

Mr. D'Amico was the man. He was always there for you no matter how hard the material was. Never gave too much work, just tests that were fair. He made philosophy more simple to understand than it usually is. Jokes were hilarious too. Would highly recommend this man to non philosophy majors.
