What a gem. Dr. Myers is the most tolerant, insightful, sweet professor I have had. Treat her with the respect & dignity with which she treats you & you'll be fast friends. She's there for you. Her class is discussion & lecture based. Try on the assignments & put a little heart into …more it, you'll do fine. One paper, one small test, one presentation. less

Meyers is a super nice professor and really wants to get to know students. Very genuine, however, the class is super boring. Lots of notes and powerpoints. Go to class, pay attention, don't buy the book. It's available as an ebook at the Pepp library. Super easy essay grader, as long as you share …more an opinion. less

Dr. Myers is a wonderful lady outside of the classroom. The class is even interesting. BUT, the tests are impossible and there is SO much work. Study guides are useless...5 pages and none of it was on the test. Class avg on exam 1&2 was 58%. Also a paper due 2nd week and 2 papers due last two. …more Arbitrarily takes off points. Great lady horrible class less

Dr Myers is a good person but awful teacher. No matter how hard you try you will never get 100% on any of her five papers or Jesus in film project. Class average on the exams were below 60 percent and would not curve and very hesitant on extra credit. Exams take nothing from her five page study …more guides and lecture notes are not helpful at all. less

Awful. Avoid at all costs. You WILL get a B- and nothing higher. Exams are like extreme mental games. Nice lady horrible professor and horrible class.

Cari Myers is the nicest teacher IN CLASS, where she lectures and has discussions. Outside though, nothing she says matters. Tests are way too hard for a GE, or even if it's your major. One test avg. was sub D. Her lectures, textbook and study guides have nothing on this test. Studied for 10+ hours …more per test and still barely passed. Avoid!! No EC less

Dr. Myers is a wonderful person and is extremely knowledgable, but her class is extremely difficult for a GE. Very difficult to get full credit on any papers. Absent in classlower grade. Tests are extremely difficult and are not even close to similar to the 5 page study guides she provides. Class …more average on two midterms was 58%. Hard to get an A. less

This class is difficult, but if you keep up on the readings and listen to the lecture its not bad. Midterm was way too long and hard but she calibrated grades by removing questions a certain percentage missed. Do the work- youll be fine. Needs to clarify study guides but overall tries to make …more boring material interesting. less

Hard class because material on tests is from lecture, class discussions AND the textbook. Most of her bad reviews are from people who didnt use the textbook- if you dont use the textbook you will struggle. Very kind lady, super hard grader. Her rubrics for papers very detailed. Lots of work but I …more liked the class. less
