COM 203 Intro to creative writing: easy class, and the assignments are fun to do, lots of writing but you can't get a bad grade on it (points are given if you write it in the correct font, right amt of pages, etc..) She's a cool teacher, really young and fun.

The most awesome professor at Pepperdine. She is soooo nice and helpful, actually cares about her students. She really sparks a passion inside you to write and I'm a math major! Tests are easy and straight from the notes, but you will still learn lots. This class is worth your tuition money!

Just pray that you don't get Humanities 212 with her! While nice and caring, Stallings does not attempt to prepare her students for exams, nor does she try to make sure that her students are following her. A lecture class is not what we want--we want to LEARN! Better luck next class...

Lectures are very boring- she just reads right off of the powerpoint. Tests are essays- very easy if you look at her review guide. The TAs graded the essays so it was really easy. If she continues teaching HUM 313, take her!

I love Courtenay Stallings. She is very sweet and helpful, especially if you talk to her outside of class. She truly cares about her students. Creative writing was easy, especially if you already like writing. Great teacher!

She is a nice person, but never forget to write a paragragh explaining a poem you write for creative writing because she will NOT give you higher than a "C"..she accepts no late work..go to class because you have in class assignments..she makes you think about how to write with images a …more lot which is good but she can be a hard grader on poems... less

I took this class during the summer session and it was so easy. If you want an easy A take her class. She is very helpful and I strongly recommend her class. Lectures are very long. She doesn't email or put the powerpoint anywhere so make sure to take your laptop with you when you go to class (you …more will need it to take notes). less

This class was incredibly easy ,and Professor Stallings is a gem. She does give pop quizzes ,but they are not terribly hard if you do the reading. Compared to other HIS 204 classes, she is definitely an easier professor and truly cares about her students. She even brought us pizza and cookies …more multiple times! less

Professor Stallings cares about her students and sheds light on important events that are omitted/downplayed in most U.S. history courses. For summer session, we had 3 pop quizzes (T/F), 3 writing assignments ("question & answer" handout), a Midterm and a Final (MC and Essay). …more PowerPoints are always provided. Take her class! You won't regret it. less
