Really amazing teacher who is extremely knowledgeable in her subject and extremely helpful. Her class is so enjoyable and you are able to learn so much in a really engaging way.

She's too nice to fail anyone. I did almost nothing and got a B-.

No tests for this first year seminar, but there are 6 essays you have to write. Lots of great field trips, and class is super easy. You do not have to do the readings to participate in class.

Her class was interesting, but by the end I never wanted to learn about art again. Very difficult for a seminar class, but also learned A LOT about reading effectively and MY WRITING IMPROVED SO MUCH. Looking back, I'm glad I took it for my wiring skills, but at the time I was a little bitter about …more the excess work she required. Tough on essays. less

DON'T TAKE THIS SEMINAR. We didn't even learn about art, but were forced to participate in discussions which nobody was interested in. So many difficult readings. This class caused me the most stress out of any of my science courses. Much more trouble than it's worth.
