Andy is one of those "cool teachers" that actually lives up to the claim. He knows the industry well and has amazing, genuine advice. He also fosters an amazing learning environment where every student is comfortable talking to him about any question no matter how big or small. This class …more was amazing and if I could rate Andy higher than 5 I would. less

I feel like Andy would be better in a lab setting, but as a lecturer he was average at best. He seemed like he was forced to teach the class. He would just read straight off the slides and then discuss tangentially subject matter with the class. Plus, his slides were lifted straight from the …more textbook. If he doesn't care why should I? less

As a person, Andy is a cool dude. As an instructor for 240, bless his heart, but he is not the best lecturer. He even told us that he would rather teach students in a hands-on way. Still, despite my rating, that does not in ANY way make me think that he is a bad instructor. We'll see what happens …more when both 240 and 241 are combined in the future. less
