Salmon rocks! His class is awesome! Instead of lecturing at the class like most profs, he actually sits down with us and has group discussions on most of the material. Great sense of humor as well. Great fun

He had us buy too many books, his tests were tricky and not academic at all. He is culturally biased and ethnocentric. He is arrogant and superior acting and states opinion as fact. It was a worthless class and I wish I could re-take it with a different p

i really didn't pick up any ethnocentrism from him. some of the subject matter was a bit over my head, but he doesn't lack enthusiasm or knowledge. he's down-to-earth and friendly and his lectures were participatory without relying on students to teach.

you have to buy 3 textbooks but don't really need to read/look throught them till you write your final paper or for the final/midterm. relatively easy class, teacher is pretty laid back.

He's a good teacher-real laid back and friendly. I did not find him ethnocentric or condescending at all, though I do disagree with some of his assertions.
