The class has field trips which were 5 pts extra credit. The class was based on 1 midterm, 1 final, 1 lab practical and 3 papers. His tests were exact copies of his slides so if you study them you should be fine. Make sure to know your bird skins during lab cause you will be tested on it for lab …more practical. less

Spicer's lectures were a bit dry but he is very knowledgeable in birds. He does not take attendance and all his slides are posted online. Throughout the semester, he gives extra credit opportunities so getting an A is very likely. He is very nice and easy to talk to and extends due dates often if …more needed.
