Maika is a very pleasant person. She had my class do some good group projects that put us in touch with the community. I found her grading to be a little unfair and heavy handed. I would recommend her.

Fantastic class. Teacher is well organized, responsive and knowledgeable. Since the class is run as a seminar, the quality of classmates is very imoportant and may be the cause of varied student responses to this teacher. Maika rocks!
