He does not show students how to do anything. He threatens students that HE determines whether or not they will make it through the program. He's also lazy and puts VERY MINIMAL effort into his job as clinical instructor. He gets confused alot. He likes to boast of his vast knowledge, but passes …more none of this "knowledge" to his students. less

it is unfortunate to spend your first clinical experience with such an egostitical teacher more concerned with boasting of his own minor success in his nursing career than being of any help to his students. best way to get by is to suck up and don t get on his bad side.

He's one of the worst instructors that I've ever had in my entire academic career. He is unprofessional and can be really mean. Just stay off his radar and you will be fine. You will most likely learn nothing because when you ask him a question, he will go off in tangents and you end up wasting …more your time listening to him talk about himself. less

A very good technique to speed up or avoid corrections during your checked of is to do it last. Thats the time he gets very tired and will not even bother to correct you and to catch your mistakes. If you go first, good luck...!
