This class is 3 hours long. Its not so bad, easy A as long as you study. Norman is pretty good, although he does tend to wander during his lectures to topics of absolutely no relevance to the class. But overall a really good person.

Class is three hours long, and he tends to wander in his lectures, but he is very helpful and really likes the profession. He does stick primarily to Career Counseling since that is his forte and would wish he spent more time on other forms of counseling.

Very understanding teacher. Lectures are really dry, slow paced, and dull. Mostly lecture and videos, and some class activities. 2 essays, and several easy quizzes. his guest speakers tend to be more interesting.

He is a great professor. His lectures were super dry and boring. I learned more from the book than I did attending the class. I was on my phone half the time, which is bad but you can get away with a lot. Attend and participate and you will get a good grade.

Good professor for incoming graduate students to take. Norm is friendly, easier grade, and very knowledgeable about the field of career counseling. This class is not what most incoming graduate students expect. Rather it is the exact opposite. This course allows students to have a flexible, …more engaging, and fun learning experience. less

Be ready to dig deep! Work on developing refined micro-skills and developing a higher level of professional clinical skills. This is a demanding class because one has to challenge themselves in videotaped dyad sessions. The book reading is easy enough. But putting it in practice is key. …more Challenging and time consuming Process notes (5 sets). less
