Lectures don't show confidence, interest, or much knowledge of the material.Rarely makes eye contact so if you have a question plan on raising your hand for a few minutes, also rare to get an actual answer. The class is taught straight from the book.Online homework takes forever and is difficult, …more just drills the material into you. NEEDS improvement! less

The most boring teacher I've ever had. Lectures not helpful at all. Sometimes there will be material that we never covered in the tests. An unpleasant experience.

Let me start by saying that Astronomy is NOT an easy subject. Regardless of who the professor is, astronomy will not be an easy class to pass!! However, you can pass the class if you get 100% on ALL the HW assignments since it's 45% of your grade and do alright on the tests. There's 3 midterms …more worth 10% each & a cumulative final worth 25%. less

Pretty chill teacher. Lectures can be boring be you can tell he's passionate about it. He's always offering to help in class as long as you ask questions. Textbook and homework(which is worth 45% of your grade) is online and offers extra credit on the homework so if you read and pay attention, …more you'll do fine. You get what you put into the class. less

Simply, DO NOT TAKE IT!! i passed the class thanks to my friend, otherwise that I would've received an F. I undertand tha Astronomy is a challenging course, but this professor made it harder. HW took forever to finish it, and had nothing to do with his long, boring, unclear powerpoint lectures. We …more had some gest speakers & the class was totally dif. less
