Very relaxed professor who cares more about open discussion and exploration between students than about assigning petty tasks. Did a good job of connecting students to the subject matter by creating projects that used our interests to synthesize our learning and by taking us out of the classroom …more and into real-world field trips to aid understanding. less

Very knowledgeable with a wide variety of mediums. Encourages students to work outside their comfort zones and connect with the real world problems.

If you do the work and dont skip class, youll get an A. Collin is really nice and wants to see you pass. Will help you if youre lost or confused. Some of the home work felt tedious, but overall it was a good class.

He is a soft spoken guy, with a lot of knowledge and passion for what he does. As a professor he was helpful whenever I got stuck or messed up on a project.

Colin is a really introspective teacher. I had him twice for sculpture classes my freshman year and once later for an Indigenous Cultures class. He's a wonderfully interesting human being, and I really learned a lot from him.
