By far the most god awful course I have taken at this university. It was repetitive because she expounded on the same points from day one. It was so unintellectually stimulating it turned my brain to mush. She could not make the material interesting in the slightest.

I took her British Literature class (from Romantic-Modern eras) and I thought she made everything very clear in both expectation as well as material. I had her the prior semester for general English, and I must agree that it was not half as good, but this most recent semester served to let her step …more her game up and I think she did a wonderful job. less

First off let me say I took her class a few years ago. At first I was interested in taking her class, but later in the semester I was accused of plagiarism (which I know I didn't do), and almost failed. And we had 7 textbooks for the class, a few of which we didn't even touch. She's a nice lady, …more but depends what class you take with her. less

She's an absolutely AMAZING professor. She keeps the class motivated and encourages success. She inspires me to become a better writer and a better student. I loved her so much I switched her to be my advisor and I am taking her ENB 111 class. Take Prof. Troy, you won't regret it.

Best professor I've ever had. I've never learned more from an English class and I've had her twice now. Great readings and it's given me a new perspective on life and literature. Plus she's hot.

You must prepared to be determined, and you must show her that you actually care about the readings and essays that are assigned to you. As long as you stay on track by giving examples from the text, making connections to it, and ACTUALLY reading the text, you'll do just fine. DO NOT DO ESSAYS AT …more THE LAST SECOND!!! less

I absolutely love Michele Troy. First semester of freshman year, she lit a spark for writing in me I told her wasn't possible. I told her because I never liked english in high school, I would never like it in college. However, her teaching style and caring feedback completely changed the way I …more write, so I've taken her again! less
