Took him for Intro-Acoustics and he's always energetic and excited about the topics. Clearly loves Acoustics himself. Easy to get along with and will help you out with anything. Great teacher, goofy guy.

Intro to Acoustics - Sounds like Bill Murray, sense of humor like Steve Martin. Great Professor. You can tell he totally loves the subject, Generally helpful in class, responsive to questions.

Extremely enthusiastic and effective professor. Very challenging and not afraid to call people out for not showing enough effort but great overall.

Thorough knowledge of Acoustics and psychoacoustics. Highly supportive (and available) throughout the process; inspired me to think creatively and to be open to options when solving problems. I learned a great deal and became more self-confident as a result of his educational process. Probably the …more single-best instructor I have ever had. less

I had Dr. Bob for vibrations 1 &2 and he was the best professor i had while at Uhart. The hardest part with engineering is tying the math to the physical but that is where Dr. Bob excels. Also he keeps class exciting and is always there for his students. Now it wont be real easy but if you do your …more part you will learn a lot in his classes. less

I had Dr. Bob for many classes at UHa. Each one was well thought out and refined by years of experience. Dr. Bob has always been open to suggestions and new developments; he is easily one of the most technologically and educationally progressive teachers I've ever had. He has a deeply-rooted …more passion for acoustics and it shows in every lecture. less

I took several classes taught by Dr. (Bob) Celmer. His courses are planned out very well from the beginning to the end of the semester. He is very enthusiast about course topics. It is important that you participate. Ask questions if you are not following. Other students may have the same …more questions. You WILL learn a lot as long as you do your part. less

Dr. Bob makes acoustics, typically a subject reserved for advanced graduate study, accessible to any student willing to learn. You can expect to have to work hard in order to do well but you can also expect to find it easy to put in the effort since both his lectures and assignments are very …more engaging. less

He can't explain concepts in a different way, like if you ask a question he will just repeat what he previously said. He's condescending and wonders why you even have a question in the first place. If you put your head down in class for any reason at all, even illness he will either call you out or …more stare you down. less
