Scribner is very confusing however and if you ask him for help he will give it to you, but might make you more confused.

I took Ethics with Professor Scribner and I actually loved him. As long as you do the readings and pay attention in class then you will excel in his class. If you don't, however, he will get you with his pop quizzes and papers.

Anyone who says a bad word about this man probably took this class because they thought it was a blowoff (globalization). Scribner is hands down the most intellectually inspiring person Ive ever met, and expects college students to be able to actually do what they're supposed to. If you have a …more philisophical mind, he's the best. Otherwise dont bothe less

You HAVE to read or you won't pass. He gives pop quizes so if you don't read you will get a zero. He isn't that helpful and he is tough. Make sure show up and are not late because he will drop you or won't let you in. His classes are fun but he is tough grader. Its tough to get an A in his class. …more Don't take him. Never taking him again. less

I had him for Philosophy and even though the course sucked, he tried to make it interesting every class no matter what. It's not his fault course curriculums suck

His class is torturous, if you don't keep up and become lost good luck. The readings are a lot and expect pop quizzes. Wish I could have dropped the class when I had the chance.
