Wasn't the gratest professor. Had him at 8:30 in the morning and almost made me regret waking up to go to that class. Didn't learn much, almost everyone failed all of his tests, and always felt like we were talking in circles every class.

by far the most boring teacher i've evr had. he puts like 10 words on the board and expects you to reall not take. he talks in circles & talks about things so irrelevant. everyone told me i wouldnt come out of that class higher than a C, i got a C. His paper is worth 60% of your grade, you need to …more write an A+ paper just to get a C less

Very tough grader but he makes his students better writers. If you can dedicate time on the work for this class, you will love it. He is a reasonable professor that cares about his students actually gaining something from class. The class I had with him was set up to be a discussion on the readings …more and everyone got involved. less

Nice guy, good person, terrible grader. I'm used to getting deans list every semester, but lost my goal for an A after the second test. Impossible to get an A in his classes. Also pretty biased on political topics.

Great guy, good person overall, but a terrible teacher. Helpful in office-hour settings and understanding, but his style of teaching isn't my type. He comes in, and just talks until the end and writes a couple things in chicken scratch on the board. Gives readings for every night that are 10s of …more pages long. You'll fail if you don't do the readings. less

Difficult Class. Boring, speaks sometimes in circles. Has some funny lines and is a good guy, not the greatest teacher. Class consists of 3 tests with 50 multiple choice each. Tests based on about 7-10 readings that are 5-15 pages long. No Review. MUST DO READINGS TO PASS HIS TESTS!

Lectures are long and pretty boring, take notes! Talks in circles and personal liberal views come out a lot. Tests are 50 question multiple choice(later optional essay), but aren't easy. 3 tests 90% of grade, participationattendance10%. After many people earned terrible test grades, the format was …more changed to only count 2 at up to 7020 split. less

Long, boring, lectures. Tough grader and doesn't really tell you what he expects when doing research summaries. The tests are based on lecture notes and also on blackboard readings. Make sure you do blackboard readings, but never opened the assigned book. Grades using check system that he doesn't …more explain. less
