She isn't clear on what she wanted for homework. She gives a bunch of homework due the night before class. She is very unclear with how she teaches and her explanations.

She can be a rough grader and gives out a lot of homework. However, her Advanced Fiction class was pretty easy. People complain about the amount of homework she gives out and that she's not the most cuddly professor, but she knows a ton about her subject, and helps you learn it too. If you have any …more questions, she's always willing to answer them. less

If you need help and ask for it she is willing to help you. There are homework assignments and essay type assignments due about every week. But if you stay on top of everything it's not that bad. Each essay type assignment only prepares you for the research paper at the end of the semester.

She is gracious! If you do your work, there is no way you would fail. She is seriously soo passionate about what she teaches. Also always tries to incorporate fun things into the classes. The choice of books we had to read were very interesting and I overall am a big fan of her "flipped-classroom" …more model of teaching. No complaints! :-) less

I'm currently taking her online literature class and she is a VERY tough grader. The assignments aren't difficult, but she picks at small things that technically aren't mistakes.

This class was not interesting. I felt like it was so pointless. I took her hybrid class. Once a week in the classroom and lots of online work. It was not difficult if you put the effort in. I felt like the discussions had nothing to do with English Composition 2.

Great teacher! She really enjoys what she does. The TA grades most of the work which can be a bad thing. You have to go the extra mile. She's a tough grader on papers but she does give good, helpful feedback. Attendance and participation is a grade so don't skip.

As a GEN ed she did so much that was unrelated to English, for example every thing we worked in included scripture Overall I personally would not take any classes taught by her simply because my learning ability and her teaching don't correlate. And make sure you show up to conferences, she will …more duck your participation grade less
