I came here to study Physics and Mathematics, and I must say, I do not regret that decision. The rest of campus is mediocre if you're looking for some unique non-academic collegiate experience, but if you actually want to obtain a quality education, you can do much worse than TTU.

Tech is a good school,but Cookeville is one of the most boring towns to live in. Thursday night is party night,because 80% of the students go home on the weekends

TTU is an excellent school if you want to get a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) degree. Otherwise you could get whatever other degree you want somewhere else for a cheaper price. However, TTU's STEM programs are some of the best in the state and are worth coming here to get.

Small town atmosphere, but it comes at a price. Cookeville is fairly boring, but if you have some half way creative friends, you'll find something to do. The dorm internet is AWFUL... 0.7mb/s on average for my year in them. Cafeteria food is...well cafeteria food. The city it is located in, Cookeville, is a small and boring city. Prepare to invest in a lot of time and gas to travel back and worth to do anything fun.

Living in the past, is the nicest way to describe this Uni. If you are thinking meeting the right people with make a difference think again. Everyone bails Thursday after their last class to head back to their parents house.
