Great professor. Tough class, but worth it in the end. Only complaint is being required to draw structures, which is not necessary in our high-tech world.

Good class. INSANE EXAMS, but with huge curves (60% = A in some cases) Be prepared to memorize EVERYTHING (hahaha, no I am not joking)

Awesome professor, probably my favorite in all of undergrad. The subject itself is not too hard cause you go over stuff you already learned lower level bio classes, just in A LOT more detail. Lots of memorization. Tests were pretty difficult. Study at least a week in advance. But he does a GREAT …more job of condensing, presenting, and explaining info less

This class is unbelievably difficult and this professor only makes it worse. He skims through information so fast and expects you to know it at an unrealistic level. Tests are impossible unless you have a photographic memory. IMO he expects too much for an undergraduate level course. If you're …more not pre-med, avoid. This class will ruin your GPA. less

Great professor, has a passion for what he teaches and a good sense of humor. Very down to Earth. It is definitely not an easy course, exams are pretty difficult. I reviewed constantly in this class, don't save studying for the week before the exam, it'll be a disaster.

This dude is amazing. His exams will kill you, but they prepare you for the future. I took this class right after bio 1 and 2 (I had orgo 1 and 2 prereqs) and every bio class after this was a joke.

By far, one of the best professors I've had the good fortune of taking a class with. Cares about the material, and about his class. Definitely not a class for people who aren't ready to put in the effort. Tests are difficult, but fair. Goes out of his way to help students (even as far as staying …more online until 11pm to answer questions) less

Hardest class of entirety of college. TONS of material and BRUTAL tests. Dr. K is clear and understandable, but he throws a ridiculous amount at you quickly. On avg, got out of class 40 early, but would cover 100+ slides. Huge curves, but it won't save you. Lots of memorization, and you MUST …more put in the work outside and teach yourself plenty. less

Dr. Kusmierczyk is a GREAT professor. He is extremely friendly and cares about his students. He is more than happy to meet with you outside of class to go over the material and patiently answers all of your questions. The class is REALLY hard though. You must attend lecture, read the book, and do …more lots of practice. He's there if you need him though less

He lectures really well and is available outside of class or after class to answer questions. He tries to make his lectures as fun and interesting as they can be (since it is biochem). Overall really good professor, and very knowledgable.
