WORST class and teacher I have ever taken. She did not double check that Canvas and syllabus matched. There was no point in getting the book. Most stressful class I have ever taken.

Did not give clear directions. Did not give back assignments in a timely manner. Do not get any of the books a waste of money. Did not give enough time for test. Took forever to get back response with email.

I went through a rough patch during the semester and she was very helpful granting extensions for several assignments. She was very prompt in responding to any questions I had and I learned so much this semester about people around the world. This was my favorite class this semester.

The class is somewhat tricky. She says what she wants you to do, and then when she grades your work she may mark you off on something without telling you why. I personally did not like the class, because I thought it was very one sided. When your opinion is asked, it is not always wanted rather you …more have to conform. Personally would not recommend. less

BNC definitely knows her stuff!!! I truly was grateful for her outside resources and the learning we did aside from what we read in the required text. I learned so much about things that I take for granted regularly.

I just finished my summer class with her and it was my second online class. I think it was very well organized. I like knowing what is expected of me from the beginning and this course was structured so that I would know. There were a lot of readings but they were short and interesting. I would …more like more interaction with people but no one else did. less

I greatly enjoyed that most assignments were based on our thoughts on a particular subject. It gave us the opportunity to express our own thoughts and ideas. I liked reading the articles and watching the videos that corresponded with the weeks material. I think that it helped me gain a better …more understanding of the topics. less

WARNING! Her expectations for this 100 level course are outrageous! I have a tough semester as is, and anthropology was intended to be my relief in the semester. It requires so much busy work each and every week. Find another professor if this is supposed to be your "easier" class for the semester.

I took this class to satisfy a GenEd requirement. Decent professor and fairly easy class. The material wasn't difficult, but there was a lot of work to do each week. I wasn't a fan of the subject so that might be why I didn't like this class or the professor. The best part of it was that it was …more online so I could do it between classes. less
