Dr. Black is an amazing professor. She is a strong and proud woman who knows what she's talking about! She was able to tie in good (new!) movies with lectures, and keep the class interesting! Take her class!!!

Great Professor! Interesting class. Downside: 2 Group projects, however very easy!

She is very funny and expects you to work. She also uses very big words. Uses a lot of movies and documentarys in class also.

Professor Black is one of the most boring professor's I had yet. She's spends a lot of time talking about herself. The class is mandatory unfortunately, which makes the dull, dry information less tolerable. Not sure if she's the only one teaching this class, but avoid her if you can.

One of the most boring, useless classes I've ever been in. Dr. Black is not shy about where her politics/religions play in the whole scheme of teaching... so if you're possibly white, Christian, politically conservitive... you're evil.

Dr. Black is a nice lady. She conveys the concepts in ways she understands. Most of the class is very dry and filled with video documentaries. It's a relatively easy class and mandatory.

Dr Black is a great professor. I found the class to be extremely interesting and learned quite a bit. The material can be a bit boring at times but overall I am glad I took this course! Truly opened my eyes to more than just the 'canned version' of what diversity is.

She uses essays and not giving essays back as a way to manipulate grading. She made sure to only cover her point of view. She was not open to views from Christian people. This class is definitely not worth taking with this teacher!

Great instructor. I have no complaints, she was an easy grader but did not let you take advantage of her. I highly recommend.
