Great professor overall, lectures very boring, rarely let class out early. passes attendance sheet around toward the end of class at times to find out who stays and who doesn't. Cases are challenging but very helpful.

Take Prof Voris!! You will get an A!! I really wished he taught more classes at IUPUI!! His exams have 25 pt essays plus "short" essays. But dont let that scare you! He does give a big pt extra credit if u need it. He also lets u use a cheat sheet for exams which really really helps!! …more Take Voris and you wont be sorry!! less

This guy is kind of a mixed bag. His lectures are EXTREMELY boring, and he doesn't communicate the material very well. This class was a TON of work, much more than other classes at the same level. Tests and quizes are difficult, so study the homework problems. However, he does give a ton of …more extra credit. Nice guy, subpar professor. less

Make sure you stay on top of this class. I had to spend a substantial amount of time studying. He covers a huge amount of material but isn't very clear in his lectures. He'll give you plenty of extra credit if you need it. In the end, it is relatively easy to get a good grade in his class, but …more you'll have to put forth a lot of work. less

Just got done taken Voris's summer class of F-305. The material is fairly difficult, but he does a great job of teaching you what he (with real world experience) finds most valuable. Great guy, and a moderately liberal grader. He wants students to learn the material, and do well. Extra credit is …more something he believes in, and is a solid adjunct prof less

Mr. Voris is very tricky. He seems like he wants you to learn the material, but come test time he throws a lot of curveballs. There is a lot of extra credit for attendance, but he's not very clear and he is very BORING. Take a different professor.

If you have operational brain cells and can understand a balance sheet there is no reason you can't get an A. His custom presentations are very valuable and he is an awesome professor.

Never rated a professor before but felt compelled because he was that bad. I think he's a genuinely good guy, but SO BORING. The material is pretty boring to begin with, but he takes it to the next level. Also pretty confusing on top of that. There is definitely a clarity issue. Would definitely …more not recommend him, even though he's a nice person. less

Dave is by no means an amazing lecturer, but he's well aware of that. I took this as a summer course and the lectures were obviously longer which did not help his case but he had ways to combat this. He gives an immense amount of extra credit and puts at least a 10% curve on every exam. Survive the …more lectures and study a little, an A is easily had. less

Mr. Voris is a wonderful instructor but just as the other reviews state the class is EXTREMELY EXTREMELY BORING. He will however explain whatever you need to know and he allows you to have a "help sheet" on all exams which is extremely helpful. You will pass but it will be a painful lecture to sit …more through. less
