She is very nice and helpful with everything, she always replied to my emails within a day. But this is the hardest class I have ever taken. She only says things 1 time, and if you miss it, you are screwed. Your grade is 3 tests and a paper. My advice to you is take an easier professor.

Does a really good job making class fun and interesting. And she designs the exams to be easy so people can pass.

This was by far my favorite class this semester. Her lectures are easy to understand and you always get out of class at least 5 minutes earlier. She is very helpful too, especially when it comes to the paper you have to write. Overall, its great class to take with a great professor.

She is tough, but if you have perfect attendance then she bumps up your grade. I finished Mythology with an 80% (B-) and she bumped it all the way up to a solid B. In this specific class there are 3 tests in total and one paper. There is certainly no busy work in her class. She is very helpful and …more is always eager to answer any questions. less

The only grades in the class are the 2 midterms, final, reading quizzes (that she tells you about ahead of time), paper, and daily attendance. So if you screw up on more than one, it's hard to get your grade back up. That being said, the tests are pretty easy and the class in enjoyable. And she's …more really funny. Just do the paper well less

I would not recommend this class to anyone, especially taught by this professor. The class average on all tests and the major paper were all low, yet she felt as if it had nothing to do with her teaching.

Great teacher. Lots of fun. The only problem was the essays. I have never been graded harder on an essay in my life. Its a pretty big component for the class too, as each exam is pass or fail based on your ability to write. There was also a paper that was a huge part of our grade. Class average was …more a 62 for this and it took me from an A to a B-. less

Prof. Thill is great. A normal day in her class consists of lectures but she's fun to listen to, and she won't call on random people to answer questions, so it's laid back. In order to pass, you must take good notes as she talks. Take thorough notes about what she talks about instead of copying …more text from the PowerPoint slides. She's super friendly. less

Definitely my favorite professor I've had so far. She's very upbeat and energetic, funny and enthusiastic, I can tell she generally loves her job. Her teaching definitely made me gather major interest in classics. You need to show up for class as she has attendance quizzes every lecture. As long as …more you listen and take notes you're golden less

I loved Elizabeth Thill as a person, but not as a professor. It was as if she didn't understand that life does happen and sometimes things got in the way. I recommend to not get sick during this class because she is not good at helping you out if you miss.
