Great professor! He is hilarious. Tries to be hip like the students. This is a very easy class. You have to read a book but it was interesting. I actually didn't read it, I listened to it on audible which is a lot easier. But there are little easy assignments, then one medium paper. Not bad at all!

Dr. Marrs is an excellent professor. Tests are easy; just know the material on the PPs. He offers a lot of extra credit opportunities. He truly wants students to succeed and learn. He answers questions happily, and he creates a great learning environment. There are quizzes almost every week, but if …more you keep up with the material you will do well. less

Super boring and tedious class. You literally get graded on 3 things the whole semester. As a person, he is okay and very knowledgeable. He just puts you to sleep.

Dr. Marrs is awesome! I only had him for freshman seminar, but it was very clear that he cares about the students. He can be a little awkward at times, but he is always trying to help. Sorry I'm no help to those in his academic classes, but he really is a great guy.

Can be a bit slow and boring at times but can be very enoyable at other times. Very good professor.

Marrs is such an awesome guy. I just had him for my FYS class. It's an easy class, just show up and do the assignments (you don't even have to turn them in on time). Marrs really does a great job at making this a stress free yet helpful class. I learned a lot about bioethics. I've heard negative …more things about some FYS teachers, but def not Marrs. less

Really great Windows class! I would definitely take him again. He is very funny and teaches beyond the classroom. I learned so much from this class and made great friends through it :) Definitely will stay in touch with him!

Dr. Marrs was my teacher for Windows on Science. All in all, he was a good professor. Sometimes he rambled and was a bit awkward, but he really cared about the students and was readily available outside of class. I did not learn much in the class, but it was a first year seminar so I didn't expect …more to learn a whole lot. less

Class is a lot of work, but his exams are fairly straightforward and mainly contain information from the powerpoints. You end up going through 20 chapters total in some semester, which is a lot but much of it should be review. Dr. Marrs is super friendly and quirky; his lectures are just super …more boring. Basically just teach yourself everything less
