Tests are hard, but you can use notes. Class as boring.

Class time is mostly discussion. Quizzes are tricky, but they are online and open-note. Not a ton of content delivered by the prof., mostly articles and videos. Easy to read and give her the work she wants to see.

Dr. K provides her students with every possible tool to succeed but you have to pay attention! Don't wait until midterm week to start compiling your study guide notes, work on it progressively. Dr. K is fascinating and extremely intelligent....take advantage of her wealth of knowledge.

The class is extremely boring but her tests are extremely easy lol ... There are 2 tests, the midterm and the final and they are all open notes.

I took this class online. All I can say is that she loves to assign busy work. While this is a 300-level class, none of the concepts are advanced enough to require all the homework we did. A simple introduction to the concepts was all that was needed to internalize the topics. Not a hard class, …more but be ready for busy work. less

Why she is so arrogant, we'll never know. She doesn't teach so it's rather confusing. She tries to be so subliminal by asking the class their opinion on everything. Try to stay awake if you get bored by life stories. I wonder why she is paid to stand in front of the class honestly

She is the only Sociology professor I've had who succeeded at making it a boring topic. She wants you to act interested but it is hard when she is condescending, giving elementary advice and quizzes. However, I believe she makes the tests/quizzes so easy because she KNOWS she doesn't teach.

I should have definitely looked into her rating before I took this class because she is a terrible professor. She is very rude and is not willing to work with you if you are confused. Everything is her way or no way. She also cannot work the internet and posts the wrong dates for everything-and …more then you lose points because the work is "late". less

For a topic I am really interested in, I really disliked this class. She has trouble operating the online class. Many of my papers and assignments were not graded in time. She did not even grade my first paper until two days before the second one was due for a grade. She also assigns a lot of …more busy-work. less

Literally didn't grade our midterm papers until the week our final papers were done. Her grading procedures are not clear. She doesn't answer emails. She doesn't care about students in her online class. She told us she was too busy to grade our assignments on time.
