wonderful lecturer, well-prepared for each class. Textbook is excellent too. But the pace is bit too fast, so you'd better be prepared before you go to each class.

He's a very nice and seems sincere as a person, but a hard teacher, he ZOOMS through the material, gets frustrated with questions easily (he never really answers your questions), he doesn't explain the material or rules he just goes straight to problems, does them, and moves on quickly leaving …more everyone confused, my entire math class is totally lost less

Awful professor! Goes way too fast and gets easily frustrated when people ask questions. My entire class is lost right now...and half of them dropped!!

I advise that you ignore students that say he won't answer questions. He is always happy to have questions as it allows him to expand. What he doesn't put up with is students that put all of the responsibility on him and don't do any work or even try to understand. Be prepared to work and learn. …more That's why you're in college right? less

Actually..I stayed on top of the hw and studied regularly and he got frustrated when I asked questions in class. so I dont know what the previous poster is talking about..Their job is to teach you. If you have a question they should try to help. This guy was the worst professor I've had. You cant …more understand him and he moves too quickly. Stay away! less

Excellent lecturer. Cared a lot about whether we knew the material. Also had subtle awesomeness in that he hole-punched everything he handed out.

took this class online. He was slow at answering some of my emails, but overall if you needed help he was more then willing to meet with you. Online homework sucks because there is no explanation on why you missed the ones you did.

This guy took a very straightforward subject, and made a mess of it. There's not so much actual teaching as there is playing around with a fancy calculator and R. His slides are a mess, with incomplete approaches to problems. Approach is inadequate and prides himself on making tricky tests/quizzes. …more He should focus on actual teaching. Fail. Avoid!!! less
