She is a very sweet lady, but has an accent thicker than pudding. I can barely understand what she is saying half of the time. She is VERY picky about papers and does not space time out well. She will tell you she wants something one way then say its wrong and will tell you to do it another way. …more Great women, not a great teacher. less

Very caring professor, and way more lenient than she should've been with students who slacked all semester. Participation goes a long way in her class, and will help you in the long run. She could be more precise on assignment due dates, but this is where her leniency comes in. While attendance …more wasn't mandatory , It's not wise to continually miss less

She is not only a wonderful and caring professor, but also like a mom. She is understanding and will help in any way possible. I am a freshman and am completely in love with her warming atmosphere. Milena also provides opportunity for an 5% in the class by attending the writing center.

She is a very nice, caring, person, but she is also very unclear and changes her mind a lot so it's hard to follow guidelines. She also isn't too great with planning.

It was very difficult to understand what was going on in this class. It felt like a guessing game and the majority of the class was constantly confused. Instructions were not made very clear and feedback often made no sense. I do not recommend this professor AT ALL.

She is a caring professor, and will do everything she can to make you pass if you try and participate in class. However, VERY unorganized. Overall, be sure to use writing lab and ask her to review your papers, because she does want well written essays. Probably one of the easier writing classes you …more could take. Interesting book and topics in class. less

She's unprepared, does not teach well, and she is one of the hardest graders you'll have. You have to type 4-5 page papers which are given back with little feedback. You'll have to teach yourself if you take this class because you will most likely not understand how she wants you to type the paper. …more Have to retake because of her. Wouldn't recommend. less

Milena is caring but also unprofessional and talks at you a lot. Shes unorganised and changes her mind often and leaves the class confused most of the time. You dont need the book that she requires. She makes everything worth 1 point on canvas which can dramatically affect your grade.
