She is not a very good teacher. She seems disorganized and all over the place. She messes up a lot of the material that she teaches us and is constantly correcting herself or being corrected by students. Very hard to follow. Fair in grading though.

Kissler was, honestly, one of the worst professors I have ever had. She's a nice lady, but very disorganized and was constantly messing problems up and having to be corrected by students. She also stated within the first couple weeks of class that adding and subtracting aren't her strong suit....I …more really don't recommend. less

Ms kissler is a grad student and this was probably her first time teaching a class. She did a terrible job, and I think that the math department should have made sure that she was ready to lead a class on her own. She constantly messed up problems in class. She needs more preparation before they …more let her teach. less

If she is your professor change to another section even if it means waiting to take the class! Her class was a terrible experience. I quit going to class because she didn't know what she was teaching so class confused me even more. Live in the Math Assistance Center if you do take her class!!!

It was a decent class. If you're looking for a prof to hold your hand like a baby then take a different class. Prof was very helpful and always made time outside of class to help clear up any concepts covered in the course. The subject can be a bit confusing but students' dissatisfaction is …more probably due to a lack of effort on their part. less

She constantly messes up during lecture and is not helpful at all!!! Would strongly suggest to not choose her for your professor unless you enjoy struggling lol. Thank goodness for the mac and other friends with great professors.

Ugh! Not the worst but not the best. Does not help clarify an inherently difficult subject.

I actually really enjoyed Kissler as a professor. She was always willing to stay after to help clarify things for you if needed. She sometimes was confusing in lecture but one on one she would go into depth to help you understand!

I love and hate this class. Lectures were confusing. If you're reading this, get Dona as your teacher at IUPUI. He writes the tests and it's hard to learn from someone who doesn't know what's on the tests. If you understand math easily, take Kissler. If you want to learn it the first time, take …more Dona. You'll be in the MAC nonstop with her. less
