Lots of papers but that is the majority of the grade. The midterm and final are not easy but she tells you exactly what is on them and holds study groups.

Made me actually like history. A lot of papers, but DUH it's a history course. Tests are reasonable, and she lets you pick the topics for the test (from each time period you study). very VERY knowledgeable, sometimes too much and she goes too in depth, but good professor overall. Pay attention and …more support your ideas in your papers and your fine. less

She is helpful and very enthusiastic about teaching; however, her enthusiasm is sometimes too chaotic. She speaks quickly and stutters often, so pay close attention. That, as well as her lack of bra-wearing, can be distracting, so try your best to stay focused on the message .

she is very enthusiastic about teaching but takes forever in getting your papers back to you. That's difficult considering the papers make up 60% of the grade in the class. She loves to show cartoons and mainly talks about women, children and african americans. I cant say that I learned any …more specific battle and mentioned one sentence on Pearl Harbor less

She is such a sweetheart! Her lectures were funny at times and usually fairly interesting. She was a generous grader for essays. The tests were fair. She let you drop your lowest grade from the tests. Spoiler alert: she likes to throw atomic bomb candies when talking about World War II.

She is a little difficult to follow and she goes through things extremely helpful. I do not suggest taking this class early in the morning because it makes it that much harder to listen. Lectures last most of the time until the very last minute of class and sometimes she goes over so do not …more schedule anything right after. less

She is great prof and so obviously loves the topic she is teaching. Discussion-based classes, so at least skim the readings (which are actually very interesting) to contribute. A few papers, but she gives great feedback and is somewhat lenient. She is hilarious and will make the class fun and …more you'll learn A TON! Highly recommend class and her. less

If you really love history or politics Dr. Robertson is an excellent instructor to learn from with some really fascinating topics that touch on sociology as well. No memorization but VERY difficult papers. Grades strict so heads up. You will write a lot and you will learn to write better, but if …more you're a solid writer already, you're gold. less

Lectures are hard to follow and she talks very fast and all over the place. There were no tests except for the final and 2 papers that make up almost your entire grade. Warning: she grades them like a 400 level English teacher and will take MANY points off for "missing" citations. I would not …more recommend her. less
