F110 Overall the class is easy. You read parts of the book and then discuss them in class. Natasha is very nice and approachable. There are MANY guest speakers that tell you about campus and different opportunities such as study abroad. Class can be fun, or sometimes boring. If you show up, read, …more and write a paragraph now and then you will get an A less

Dr. Flowers is open minded and fair. We didn't have to purchase books as she made resources available online. You get out what you put into this course and that's the way it should be. I look forward to having her for Blocks!

Honestly, I don't feel like last semester was as bad as this semester. Our assignments took two months to get graded and you get docked points for stuff that wasn't even supposed to be in our paper. She thinks white people are out to take over the world. Our class was the complete opposite in …more demeanor. less

Unorganized, unprepared, and all around random and unrelated assignmentsdiscussions in this course. Even though this course is called American Education and probably should have included philosophies, teaching theories, and the education of all types of students and learners, it focused on outdated …more subjects and the forcing of random "connections". less

Super nice and funny but you will sit and talk 90% of class. She can make things very uncomfortable and you will be pushed out of your comfort zone but I really enjoyed.

I felt like she expected more from us than what she was giving. Points were taken off of assignments for things that were not asked to be in them, and she expected us to have long, inspiring conversations with little information/reading about the topic. She was nice, but it was hard to stay …more motivated to do anything in that situation. less
